Division Leader – Saudization

Responsible for maximizing the organization’s growth and profitability while leading and managing all retail division functions. This includes implementing potentially profitable short- and long-term programs and processes to optimize workflow. Review performance against operating plans, analyze market conditions, and approve changes in plan directions.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensures that all showrooms are operating fully in compliance with the Group’s policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for all day-to-day operations of retail and coordination with warehouse locations under his coverage.
  • Responsible for the P&L of the operations.
  • Responsible for setting, monitoring, and achieving sales targets.
  • Creates and maintains an exceptional customer experience and journey.
  • Keeps all showrooms in compliance with SARA’s consistent look and feel, striving for a unified corporate identity.
  • Responsible for showrooms to be at top conditions and standards.
  • Responsible for all operational expense management.
  • Sets, monitors, and achieves showroom sales targets.
  • Ensures all pricing and discounting are per the policies of the Group.
  • Covers showroom landlord management and communication, including negotiating and implementing leasing contracts.
  • Communicates with authorities – to an appropriate level – and ensuring operations are always legally compliant.
  • Coordinates with warehouse operations to maximize return on space, logistics, and time management.
  • Responsible for showroom upkeep and ensuring standardization and compliance with Group and franchisor policy.
  • Finds potential new showroom locations and develops financial proposals.
  • Responsible for execution of new showroom fit-out and opening events.
  • Co-responsible for identifying clearance products, creating and implementing clearance strategies.
  • Continuously shares feedback of product acceptance and performance to inform the product team best.
  • Continuously shares suggestions of product needs and issues to inform supplier relations best.
  • Gathers customers’ insights on the latest trends and needs in the respective market.
  • Utilizes CRM tool to maximize operation efficiency leading to the achievement of division goals.
  • Train and develop new and existing talent to bring SARA’s service to the highest standards.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge

  • BA/BS in business or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in retail sales.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership position.
  • Experience in planning and working with leaders, sales teams, and product development teams.
  • High level of sales experience and drive of self and team towards the achievement of sales target.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage a high-performance ream focused on accountability and exceeding expectations.
  • Creative customer service and strong business sense.
  • Ability to lead, create, and work within cross-functional team environments.
  • Knowledge and experience in negotiating.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate the team by instilling positive culture.
